Tequila Sunrise

4 oz of orange juice
2 oz of tequila
1/2 oz grenadine
orange slice for garnish

Pour tequila and orange juice into a highball glass with ice cubes.  Stir. Slowly pour grenadine around the inside edge of the glass (the sunrise effect).  Put a piece of orange slice for garnish.

A good way to end the week and the beginning of the beach trip with all my brothers from a different mother. :=)  We willl enjoy both listening and drinking at Topsail island, North Carolina.

Milonga de Angel

Milonga de Angel (tạm dịch Thiên Thần Milonga) là tên của một bài nhạc điệu milonga.  Milonga là điệu nhạc trước khi điệu tango và điệu nhảy tango ra đời.  Vì thế, điệu milonga có rất nhiều nét giống như điệu tango tuy nhiên điệu milonga là một loại nhạc rất là lãng mạn, nhẹ nhàng và đa cảm hơn điệu tango.  Bài Milonga de Angel là trong những bài nhạc nổi tiếng nhất của cố nhạc sĩ Astor Piazzolla, một người Argentina đã thành lập điệu nhạc nuevo tango (tango mới) kết hợp điệu jazz, classical và tango.  Ông hay chơi bandoneón với những tác phẩm mà ông ta sáng tác.

100 Places to Visit Before I Die 2

This is a series of 100 places to visit before I die.  My second place is Vịnh Hạ Long (Ha Long Bay), Vietnam.  It’s in my home country yet I have never gone so I’d like to go before I die.  Vịnh Hạ Long provides a unique into nature craving of stones and caves rising spectacularly from the ocean with vegetation and its own ecosystem.  I’d love to kayak around the stones, exploring the caves and trying fresh grilled seafood.

My Guitar

I play a classical guitar made by Paulino Bernabe of Madrid, Spain.  It’s a 2008 Germany Spruce with Madagascar rosewood back and side.  This guitar has a big ‘Spanish’ sound, the bass is very deep and melodic, and the treble has a romantic sound to it.  To me it has a poetic sound and feel to it.
